The short answer? No.
Your Credit Account and Secured Credit card can both help you build credit - but they work in very different ways.
The Kikoff Credit Account is a specialized, revolving tradeline that's only available to use on the Kikoff Store. The Credit Account is NOT intended for everyday purchases on things like gas or groceries. The reason it works so well for credit building is because keeping a credit line with minimal use is an excellent way to show credit bureaus and lenders that you're a reliable borrower. On the other hand, the Kikoff Secured Credit Card is specifically designed to help you build credit with everyday purchases. You must make a deposit into your Secured Credit Card account before making a purchase and the funds in your Secured Credit Card account are entirely separate from your Kikoff Credit Account.
To begin building credit with your purchases and to receive a physical card in the mail, deposit $50 onto the Secured Credit Card via direct deposit or bank transfer. Learn how to add funds to your Secured Credit Card.
Important: The Secured Credit Card is only available to Kikoff Premium and Ultimate users.
