Once your Kikoff Credit Account is completely paid off, your account will remain open with no debt on it—but will continue to help build your account age. This is a good thing. An open account you no longer use will not hurt your credit (it will actually help it).*
When your account is paid off, you will no longer need to make monthly payments on the credit line— because you will no longer have a balance. While you will no longer be using your account, Kikoff keeps it open to help you continue to grow key credit factors like account age, even after you're no longer paying for a plan.
You can always extend your payment history with us by making additional purchases against your Kikoff Credit Account, which gives you the flexibility to build a longer payment history on your own schedule.
*Keep in mind that if you have AutoRenew enabled, your account may be set to automatically renew for another year at the end of it's term. Login to Kikoff to manage your AutoRenew preferences, or see our article here.
Paying off your Kikoff Credit Account will not automatically close it. If you decide to close your Kikoff Credit Account, we will not be able to resume it at a later date so please consider carefully before doing so.
