Kikoff Disputes make it easy to correct errors on your credit report by submitting a dispute to the credit bureaus. Here’s how it works:
-
Check Your Credit Report: Your Kikoff Disputes page will show items from your credit report that might be incorrect or inaccurate.
-
Select Items to Dispute: Once you’ve identified an item you want to dispute, simply click on it. You can choose one or multiple items (up to 5) to dispute in a single letter.
- Dispute Frequency: You can submit one dispute letter per month, and it can include up to 5 items. Your dispute eligibility is refreshed on a 30-day rolling basis.
-
Submit Your Dispute:
- Basic Users: You can only dispute items with Equifax.
- Premium & Ultimate Users: You can dispute items with all three bureaus: Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian.
-
Disputing Across Multiple Bureaus: If an item is reported to all three bureaus, Kikoff automatically sends a separate dispute letter to each bureau. If it’s only reported to one or two bureaus, Kikoff sends the dispute to the relevant ones.
-
What Happens Next? After you submit your dispute, the credit bureaus will investigate. You’ll be notified of the outcome, and if the item is corrected, it will reflect on your credit report. Please note that it can take 30–60 days for any submitted disputes to be resolved.
Kikoff makes it simple and efficient to dispute errors on your credit report, helping you take control of your credit health!
