If your Kikoff Credit Account has been charged off, you can still pay the outstanding balance and take steps toward resolving your account. Below, we’ve outlined the process and important details you should know:
How to Pay Your Charged-Off Account
You can make payments through the Kikoff app or website. Here’s how to pay:
- Log in to your account on the Kikoff app or website.
- Navigate to your Credit Account and select Make a Payment Now.
- You’ll see the total amount due for your charged-off account. Note that you must pay the full balance in a single payment; partial payments are not an option.
You can also pay using money orders or cashier’s checks sent to Kikoff’s mailing address. For more information on this process, please visit http://kikoff.com/link/get-help.
What Happens After You Pay?
- Your Balance Will Be Updated: Once your payment is processed, the balance reported to credit bureaus will be reduced to $0.
- The Charge-Off Will Remain on Your Credit Report: Payment does not remove the charge-off status from your credit report. This is a standard credit reporting practice.
- You Can Open a Kikoff Credit Account: Paying off your charged-off account will make you eligible to open a new Kikoff Credit Account if you’d like to continue building your credit with us.
