Yes, you can switch between Basic and Premium in your User Dashboard.
If you wish to upgrade your existing plan (ie moving from Basic --> Premium or Ultimate)
Within your Home tab in your User Dashboard, if you have the Basic plan you will see an "Upgrade to Premium" option within your Credit Account section, with a brief bit of information on the upgrade. Select "Learn More" to be guided through the upgrade steps.
If you wish to downgrade your existing plan (ie moving from Ultimate --> Premium or Basic)
Within your Home tab in your User Dashboard, select Credit Account, and then the Settings (gear cog symbol) on the top right of your page. From there, select "Orders and subscriptions", and scroll down to the Subscriptions section. If you have an active Premium plan, you'll see the details here, including the option to Change to Premium/Basic.
Please note: Any amount previously paid towards your plan will not apply to your new plan, so we recommend to plan your upgrade/downgrade accordingly. Similarly, any previous payments made will not apply to your new plan. However, previous payments will still remain on your credit report.
For example: if you make 3 months of payment on Basic and then decide to change to Premium, you upgrade to a 12 month term and 0 payments yet made on Premium (not 3 months into it). However, prior payments made for those earlier 3 months remain on your credit report for your benefit; you made the payments after all!
If you encounter an error when trying to upgrade/downgrade - such as not seeing the option to adjust your plan - keep in mind the following:
- You will be unable to change your type of plan (either direction Basic <> Premium) if there is a past due balance on your account. Your payments must be current to change your plan.
- You will be unable to change your plan (either direction Basic <> Premium) if you've already changed your plan within the last 30 days. Only one upgrade/downgrade can be performed in a single billing cycle.
